Our Campaign

Brandon University is committed to remaining the competitive university of choice to best-serve the needs of students from the City of Brandon, the Westman region, Manitoba, Canada and a growing number of international students. This commitment can only be fulfilled through investment in its infrastructure and solid support for its students and their needs, both financially and academically.

The BUILD Campaign will raise $22 million to support a targeted and holistic approach for increasing student recruitment and retention, within a progressively more competitive post-secondary education system. This will result in Brandon University’s continued ability to succeed, remain relevant and propel its students into their best future imaginable.

The Campaign addresses three key areas vital to Brandon University’s future and that of its students – student recruitment and retention, student success, and community engagement. In line with the identified priorities, the BUILD Campaign is comprised of three components:

1. Brandon University Healthy Living Centre – $7 million
2. Student scholarships and bursaries – $5 million
3. Aboriginal student success – $10 million
