Programs of Study

The program is subdivided into four streams:

1. Biodiversity

• Study the biological aspects of the environment

2. Physical Sciences

• Study the physical characteristics of the environment
• May be eligible for accreditation as a Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.) as determined by the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of the Province of Manitoba (APEGM).

3. Resource Management

• Gain an understanding of human and societal impacts, influences and resource needs from the environment.

4. Land and Water Management

• A condensed 2-year (60 credit hour) program of courses offered as an articulation pathway (‘transfer’) for students who have completed the 2-year diploma in Land & Water Management at Assiniboine Community College.
