Special Functions hosts socials for various groups throughout the year. See pricing on our late night snack offering. All food and beverage requirements are booked through Food Services Manager

Food Options for Socials:

Option 1:

• dinner rolls
• potato salad
• coleslaw
• meat trays
• cheese trays
• pickle tray
• condiments
• coffee/tea

$7.75 per person (plus applicable taxes)

Option 2:

• carved hip of beef on a kaiser
• cheese trays
• pickle tray
• condiments
• colesalw
• coffee/tea

$12.95 per person (plus applicable taxes)

Rental Rates:

Room rental for the Main Dining Hall with capacity of 500 people (standing) is $375.00*.

• Brandon University Food Services bartenders are mandatory. Cost is $18.00/hour* per bartender, with a minimum of three hours.
• No bartender fee if bar liquor sales are over $1000.00*.
• All beer, wine and spirits are $4.50 each. Coolers $5.50
• Brandon University Food Services supplies all beer, wine and alcohol as well as mix.
• Liquor license supplied by Brandon University Food Services.
• All food is to be supplied by Brandon University Food Services at additional cost.
• Security must be hired for all socials.
• Room setups might be subject to a set-up fee.

In addition to music rental fees, the SOCAN and ReSound fee’s will apply.

SOCAN:

• Main Dining Room – $174.79 plus gst
• DownUnder Canteen – $59.17 plus gst
• Private Dining Room – $41.13 plus gst

ReSound:

• $26.63 plus gst
