Centennial Scholarship for Women’s Studies

Awards: 1; Value: $950.

To be awarded upon the recommendation of the Co-ordinator of the minor in Women’s Studies to the student with highest standing in the Women’s Studies minor degree program. Normally, the recipient will have completed at least 6 credit hours in this area and have obtained a g.p.a. of no less than 3.5. Under normal circumstances, a student may receive this award only once.

The Margaret Laurence Scholarship in Gender and Women’s Studies

Awards: 1; Value: $200.

Provided by the Programme in Gender and Women’s Studies. To be awarded to the best student in either 36:161 Introduction to Women’s Studies: Issues in Feminism or 36:162 Introduction to Women’s Studies: Contemporary Issues in Gender, or their equivalent.

The Lorelei Cederstrom Scholarship in Gender and Women’s Studies

Awards: 1; Value: $200.

To be awarded on the basis of academic achievement to the best student in either 36:253 Gender in Transnational Perspective or 36:254 Trnasnationalism and Women’s Lived Experiences, or 36:366 Critical Readings in Gender and Women’s Studies, or their equivalent.
