Applications & Official Document Deadlines
The Admissions Office will begin processing applications for the next academic year beginning October 1st. Online applications will only be available until the specified program application deadline dates listed below. The application deadline and the document deadline are the same date.
Communications from the Admissions Office will be sent by email. When applying, use an email address account that you check regularly and add us to your safe-sender list.

All students new to BU must also complete a departmental application, links below. Please note that for the Master of Education program, this online application can only be completed once you have received instruction to do so from the Admissions Office, after your Brandon University general application has been cleared.
Master of Education
For new and returning students:
International Application Deadline:
- For September – December 15th (Central Admissions application and documents deadline)
- For September – January 15th (M.Ed. application and documents deadline)
Canadian Application Deadline:
- For September – February 25th (Central Admissions application and documents deadline)
- For September – March 15th (M.Ed. application and documents deadline)

Note: Applications for the Music Education stream of the Master of Music are not being accepted for the 2024-25 year.
