Research Interests:

• Western Europe in the High Middle Ages (ca. 1100-1400 CE), exemplaria and pastoral handbooks, literacy, monasticism and the mendicant orders, the Beguines and the cura mulierum, medieval cities.

Teaching Interests:

• The Middle Ages, Late Antiquity, Ancient Greek and Roman Civilization, Ecclesiastical and Cultural History, the Crusades, Women in the Pre-Modern World.
