Percussion Ensemble
Director: Victoria Sparks
The Brandon University Percussion Ensemble (BUPE) is directed by Victoria Sparks. The ensemble consists of current Percussion Majors and Minors as well as Brandon University Alumni. Performing regular season concerts in the Lorne Watson Recital Hall, the ensemble has also performed as a guest of the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra as part of their pre-concert series in the regular season as well as during the New Music Festival. Their concerts feature percussion music from all historical periods and from all musical styles including contemporary, classical, new age, rock, funk, folk, jazz, ragtime, African, Brazilian and Latin American.
