Dr. Allison Star joins the School of Music as a Sessional Instructor teaching Aural and Keyboard Skills III and IV, as well as Piano. She received her Ph.D. (Musicology) from the University of Victoria (B. C.) where she was previously employed as a Lecturer within their School of Music. Allison also holds Master of Music (Piano Performance) from Dominican University (San Francisco Bay Area), where she was both a lecturer and active collaborative pianist, notably with the Marin Symphony. She has a private music studio in Victoria, with extensive experience adjudicating music festivals, and examining throughout Canada and the U. S. A. as a Senior Examiner for the Royal Conservatory of Music.
