Music Library

The Brandon University Music Library has one of Western Canada’s most comprehensive music collections, with books, scores, CDs, DVDs, vinyl, and more! Our south-facing full-length window wall is one of our main features, giving some of our study spots the best views on campus!

Come by and say hi to Donna or our student workers at the music circulation desk to sign out, renew, or return books, and put cash on your printing account. If you have questions about or would like to sign materials out of the Large Ensemble Library, contact Donna in person during weekday mornings or by email at lowed@brandonu.ca.

If you have questions about academic research using library resources, from figuring out a topic for a paper to searching for relevant resources, Laura can guide you through the process of developing your research paper and teach you relevant information literacy skills. Come and say hi if she is in her office or elsewhere in the music library or make an appointment for a one-on-one research session by emailing jacynal@brandonu.ca.

We also occasionally host events, such as workshops, our BU Homecoming Alumni Social, and more! Stay tuned for more details of events coming soon!
