BRANDON, MB – This Friday is the Bobcats volleyball teams’ home-opener, and there’s no better way to kick off a sport’s season than by having a party.
The Bobcats and Brandon University Physical Education Club (BUPEC) will be hosting a tailgate party in the BU Gymnasium parking lot Friday starting at 5 p.m.
For $3, participants will receive a hot-dog, drink, and Bobcat Thunderstick noisemaker for Friday night’s game. The Bobcats women’s volleyball team will then hit the court against the University of Calgary Dinos at 6 p.m. The men’s team will follow at 8 p.m.
There will be many great door prizes including Bobcats basketballs, volleyballs, t-shirts, and toques.
BU students get in to all Bobcats games for free with student ID. Admission for BU faculty, staff, and President’s Circle members is $5.00.
