Schad Richea’s “off-season” will be anything but. The Certified Athletic Therapist for the Brandon University Bobcats will be representing Canada at the Paris Olympics this summer, meaning that this summer will be one of his busiest. Richea will be joining the Canadian Men’s Volleyball National team at the 2024 Olympic games and his duties have already begun. Onboarding, training, and planning are all underway as he prepares to join the team at the Volleyball Canada Centre of Excellence later this month.

As Brandon University prepares to welcome back students for the Fall Term, in-person services are already being re-opened, and the entire campus will be open for access on Wednesday, Sept. 1.
Most services will be available in-person when the Fall Term begins in September, with Phase Grey precautions remaining in effect.

BRANDON, Man. – Dr. Dennis Anderson, the longest-serving Brandon University (BU) President since BU received its charter in 1967, will be honoured this month.
The BU Board of Governors will confer the title of President Emeritus on Dr. Anderson at the University’s Spring Convocation on May 26. Dr. Anderson served as President and Vice-Chancellor of the University from 1990 to 2000.

As Brandon University (BU) begins planning for our next few decades of growth and development, we are inviting all members of the community to share their visions of the future of the university, including how they currently use and engage with the campus.
BU is working with consultants who specialize in this type of assessment and long-range planning to develop a Campus Master Plan for the University.
