January Orientation

Student Services would like to welcome you to Brandon University!

To help you get started, we are offering an orientation session for all new students starting classes this February 2012.  Please consider this your invitation to attend Orientation on January 30, 2012 in the R. D. Bell Room, #157, Queen Elizabeth II Music Building, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Finding your classrooms is necessary, but orientation is about knowing how to survive at university.  We will introduce you to a communication network and support system that will provide you with useful information (such as the Library, Student Services, and the Learning Skills Centre).  In addition, we will help you set up your Brandon University email account and photocopy card.  Please feel free to bring your class schedule.

Our Academic Advisors will be available to assist with course selection for those of you who have not yet participated in the mandatory advising program.  If you have not had your mandatory advising, please contact Student Services at (204) 727-9739 or 727-9769 immediately.

Finally, you will have lunch on us!  At this time, Student Ambassadors will be available to answer any last minute questions that you may have.

I highly encourage you to attend the Orientation session to help prepare you for the semester ahead.
