English Language Requirement Waiver
The Brandon University Senate approved a new English Language Requirement Waiver for Permanent and Landed students for the September 2008 intake. The new policy will take effect April 1, 2008 for students that apply on this date and beyond.
This policy is for permanent and landed students who have resided a minimum of ten consecutive years in Canada. The period of residency will be the time lapsed between the “Landed On” date on the “Record of Landing” document and the first day of classes in the term the applicant intends to register. The “Record of Landing” document must be submitted to the Admissions Office.
Permanent and Landed students who do not meet the required ten consecutive years in Canada will be required to submit proof of one of the English Language Proficiency scores as recognized by Brandon University.
