Jill Bucklaschuk is a researcher with the Rural Development Institute (RDI). She received a Bachelor of Arts (Honours)from Brandon University and a Masters of Arts in Sociology from Carleton University in Ottawa. Jill’s research interests include rural sociology, but more specifically farm women’s work, identity, and gender relations on family farms. Other academic interests include rural restructuring, rural immigration, social movements, social solidarity, and qualitative methodology. During her undergraduate experience she had the opportunity to become involved with projects at RDI and the Department of Rural Development as a student research assistant and is excited to once again be part of the RDI team.
