Brandon University Board of Governors Entrance Scholarships

Deadline for Grade XI transcripts/admissions application FOR SCHOLARSHIP PURPOSES (to be sent to the Admissions Office): Friday, June 28, 2013. Board of Governors Entrance Scholarships awarded after this date will be based on Grade XII averages.

Students applying for admission to Brandon University will, if so indicated on their application, automatically be considered for the following awards up to the first day of classes for the Regular Session:

• Brandon University Board of Governors Entrance Scholarships
• Brandon University Board of Governors Entrance Scholarships: Advanced Placement Courses
• Brandon University Board of Governors Entrance Scholarships: International Baccalaureate Courses

All Other Entrance Scholarships (excluding those open to Undergraduate or All Other Students)

Deadline for application: Sunday, March 31, 2013*
Deadline for registration: Friday, June 7, 2013

*Any supporting documents as described in the “Details” section of the Scholarship Database must be provided either electronically or by mail by March 31, 2013.

Undergraduate Scholarships and Scholarships Open to All Students

Deadline for application: Friday, May 31, 2013*
Deadline for registration: Friday, June 14, 2013

Graduating Year Scholarships

Deadline for application: Tuesday, April 30, 2013
Deadline for supporting documents: Friday, August 23, 2013

Graduate, Masters, or Post-Diploma Scholarships

Deadline for application: Friday, May 31, 2013*
Deadline for registration: Friday, August 16, 2013

Deans’ Awards

Deadline for application: Tuesday, April 30, 2013*

*Your application must include your thesis as outlined on the application form. Please obtain your application from the Scholarship Office.

Louis Riel Bursaries

Deadline for application: Friday, September 13, 2013*
Deadline for registration: Wednesday, September 19, 2013

*Your application must include the Louis Riel Institute’s Bursary Program Application. This document is required by the Manitoba Métis Federation to confirm your Métis status. Please obtain your application from the Scholarship Office.

All other bursaries

Deadline for application: Friday, August 16, 2013*
Deadline for registration: Friday, August 16, 2013

*Any supporting documents as described in the “Details” section of the Scholarship Database must be provided either electronically or by mail by Friday, August 23, 2013.

All bursary applicants must provide either their provincial Student Loan Notice of Assessment or their Self-assesed Financial Need by this date as well.  Failure to do so will result in a “Nil” Financial Need. Please contact the Scholarship Office directly after this date if you are unable to provide this information.
