Chemistry Term

The Faculty of Science at Brandon University invites applications for a two-year term position in Physical Chemistry at the rank of Assistant Professor.

The Chemistry Department offers three- and four-year B.Sc. programs, along with a four-year honours option.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the lecture and laboratory sections of two second year Physical Chemistry courses (Thermodynamics/Kinetics and Quantum/Statistical Mechanics) and the lecture sections of two first year courses (General Chemistry I and General Chemistry II). Participation in the laboratory sections of the General Chemistry courses may also be required. The candidate is also expected to engage in scholarly activity.

Qualifications: A Ph.D. is required.  Experience in delivering undergraduate laboratory and lecture programming in Physical Chemistry would be a considerable asset.

Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience
