Brandon University’s commitment to accessibility is guided by the Accessibility for Manitobans Act (AMA), which ensures a consistent approach towards accessibility across the province. Under this legislation, which became law in 2013, the Manitoba government has developed five mandatory accessibility standards.<\/p>\n
These standards, which come into force at different times for public and private-sector organizations in the province, each address a difference subset of barriers for Manitobans in key areas of daily living.<\/p>\n
