The following are key objectives specific that guided\u00a0the Plan and: are in keeping with the University\u2019s\u00a0Strategic Objectives; respond to changing needs and\u00a0trends; advance Indigenous Community representation;\u00a0align opportunities of each land holding to benefit the\u00a0University and broader community; and position the\u00a0University as a unique district within Brandon and a\u00a0significant destination within Manitoba. The following are trends that are important\u00a0to the growth, development and identity of Brandon\u00a0University.<\/p>\n

The initiatives are driven by the need to expand\u00a0and diversify student housing; to provide affordable\u00a0housing for students and seniors; to create a flexible Plan\u00a0that takes a comprehensive and sustainable approach\u00a0to developing buildings, open spaces, and movement\u00a0networks to meet the University\u2019s strategic objectives.<\/p>\n
