Statistics Canada is currently hiring approximately 32,000 people for census enumerator and crew leader positions across Canada. Be part of a great undertaking and join our 2021 Census team!

Most census jobs involve doing the field work associated with data collection. Field positions include both supervisory and non-supervisory roles, but most census jobs are enumerator positions (non-supervisory).

  • Enumerator (non-supervisory)
  • Crew leader (supervisory)

To be considered for a job, you must:

  • be 18 years of age or older
  • be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, or possess a valid work permit
  • have a Canadian home address.

    The job start and end dates vary by position and location, but will be between March and July 2021.
