Your days will include:

• Oversee invoicing process for the plants located in Neepawa and Windom, Minnesota
• Oversee the HyLife Foods accounts receivable team – 3 direct reports in Neepawa and 1 indirect report in Windom, Minnesota
• Reviewing daily and weekly accounts receivable reports
• Preparing reports on customer credit
• Support the preparation and completing month-end accounting closes for subsidiaries
• Update and maintain customer accounts
• Monitoring all accounts for amounts overdue and outside of credit limits
• Assisting in processing customer claims, enter and submit customer credits
• Review and improve transactional procedures and controls
• Ensure accurate processing of accounting function
• Business, systems, and accounting improvement initiatives
• Account reconciliations

To succeed in this role, you possess:

• Diploma in Business Admin/Accounting (preferable)
• 2 years’ experience in the accounting field
• Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data
• Detailed and thorough in completing work tasks
• Reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations
• Analytical and logical to address work-related issues and problems
• Pleasant with others on the job and displays a good-natured, cooperative attitude
