The Manitoba Metis Federation (MMF) is the official democratic and self-governing representative for the Metis Nation’s Manitoba Metis Community. The Manitoba Metis are Canada’s Negotiating Partners in Confederation and the Founders of the Province of Manitoba.

The MMF seeks to fill one full-time Agreement Compliance Analyst position within our Policy Unit, located at 150 Henry Ave in Winnipeg, MB. Reporting to the Agreement Compliance Officer, the Agreement Compliance Analyst is responsible for monitoring funding criteria and reporting requirements of contribution agreements and other third-party documents within the MMF and its Affiliates.

Job Duties/Competencies:

  • Assist with management of MMF agreements/contracts offered through federal, provincial, and local governments;
  • Maintain agreement/contract information and documentation;
  • Ensure funding criteria and reporting requirements for agreements/contracts are met to maintain funding and deliver programing;
  • Assist with agreement program activities and how to maximize funding opportunities;
  • Assist with review and assess agreements, including advising and interpreting agreement requirements, obligations, risks;
  • Research/gather information, conduct analysis and prepare briefing material.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Legal Studies, or related discipline;
  • Three years’ experience in providing administrative services in business or as a corporate/business legal secretary;
  • Experience in computerized office environment with proven ability to create and maintain documentation and spreadsheets;
  • Relevant education or experience in working with agreements/contracts, reading budgets and other financial information is a definite asset;
  • Knowledgeable in provincial, federal, local funding opportunities and collaborative projects;
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with attention to detail and efficiency;
  • Demonstrated ability to use judgement and initiative with strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Knowledge of Metis culture, MMF programs and services is a definite asset;
  • Ability to travel, valid Manitoba Driver’s license with access to a reliable vehicle.
