Education:

  • 3rd or 4th year Diploma or Bachelors in Business Technology Management or Computer Sciences, Computer Information systems or Information Technology

Eligibility:

  • Students must be enrolled in a formal co-op/internship program with their post-secondary institution

We’re seeking a Business Technology Co-op Student to join our team. Reporting to the Team Lead - IT Analytics, you´ll be working with a team of dedicated employees across North America. During your work term, we will push you to be your best by exposing you to challenging projects and giving you the opportunity to take ownership of your work term. You will gain practical experience, develop technical skills to complement your academic learning, and gain exposure to future opportunities at our company. To succeed, you’ll need to cultivate and communicate a clear vision and set goals for yourself, whilst also juggling individual country specific targets.

Some of the key responsibilities of the Business Technology Co-op Student will be:

  • Analyze and translate business requirements into business design specifications;
  • Perform as-is analysis of our systems and processes, identify any efficiencies that can be gained;
  • Develop testing plans and coordinate testing;
  • Work with business managers and department managers to identify and resolve business systems/applications problems, and identify potential improvements;
  • Conduct business process improvement consulting to integrate and streamline work processes to maximize both cost savings and efficiency;
  • Performs independent studies, analyses, interpretations, conclusions and recommendations;
  • Develop support and technical documentation;
  • Participate in project teams and contribute to project delivery;
  • Assist in designing or prototyping reports/visualizations from outputs of various analytics software to provide insights to the business (ex.Spotfire, Power BI, SAP BI, R or Python Libraries).

To be eligible for our co-op student program, you must be enrolled in a co-op/internship program sponsored by an accredited postsecondary institution.
