Our growing company is searching for top talent to join our team in the role of Desktop Support Analyst located in the community of La Broquerie, Manitoba.

Your days will include:

  • Provide technical support to all HyLife staff for end user related technology, including technical advice and assistance
  • Maintain high-level of customer service satisfaction, providing staff with regular updates on progress of their requests or support issues with special consideration towards our executive team
  • Onsite support as needed at HyLife facilities including barns, feed mills, distribution centers, and offices
  • Record, update, and track support tickets in service management tool
  • Setup and configure equipment for employees, contractors or consultants including desktops, laptops, mobile devices (smartphones, tablets), VOIP and collaboration, and printing
  • Diagnose, and troubleshoot hardware, software and network problems
  • User account creation, adds/changes and access provisioning
  • Maintain Endpoint Security compliance, including anti-virus, OS and Third-Party application updates, responding to and remediating vulnerability detections and alerts
  • Under guidance of IT Management, manage projects including milestone and timeline deliverables, stakeholder and management updates
  • Participate and contribute to regular IT operational reviews to maintain and improve service levels and KPI’s
  • Contribute to operational best practices and standard process development

To succeed in this role you possess:

  • 5+ years of experience in related IT capacity servicing company needs and interfacing with staff
  • Experience with Office 365 and/or Microsoft email, Active Directory, Windows 7 and 10
  • Knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft SQL and virtualization technology an asset
  • Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, XenMobile an asset
  • Experience with automated OS, Software and Update/Patch deployment tools, methods and scripting (i.e. MDT, SCCM, WSUS, PowerShell) an asset
  • Microsoft, Citrix, Cisco or VMware certification an asset
