Duties:

Reporting to the Chair of Aviation and Aerospace, the successful candidate will be a member of the Instructional team responsible for the delivery of our nationally approved Aircraft Maintenance Engineer program and other related training. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, delivery, and evaluation of classroom and shop training for RRC Aviation programs and courses. Other duties can include providing training and college representation off campus as well as participation at symposiums and trade shows. Instructors in this role are also responsible for regular entries in associated training records within a Transport Canada approved training environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid AME License (minimum 5 years) and/or equivalent DND, CCAA, or relevant industry training and experience
  • Extensive industry experience including working on a variety of aircraft
  • Experience in various types of aircraft piston engines including troubleshooting and repair
  • Experience with a variety of Rotary Wing and/or Fixed Wing aircraft
  • Supervisory experience in an Approved Maintenance Organization

  • Instructors are required to complete a Certificate in Adult Education (CAE)

  • Incumbent must be physically capable of performing the duties and responsibilities of the position. A medical certificate from a certified physician will be required.
