Duties:

Red River College requires an instructor to teach in the Medical Laboratory Sciences Cross-training Program. Reporting to the Project Manager and the Chairperson, Allied Health Sciences Admin, the successful candidate will be responsible for the on-line sharing, classroom, laboratory and clinical portions of the program. Duties will include lecturing, practical instruction, evaluation and supervision of students in both theory and clinical components.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Diploma in Medical Radiologic Technology
  • Registration or eligibility for registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
  • Experience as a Medical Radiological Technologist
  • Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Effective leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in small to large group settings
  • Ability to use conflict resolution techniques to facilitate positive outcomes
  • Effective presentation skills with ability to present material to diverse groups with the use of appropriate technology

Assets:

  • A Bachelor Degree in Education and/or Science or a suitable combination of advanced education and experience
  • Teaching experience, especially distance delivery
  • Proficient skills with Desire to LEARN
