Duties:

Reporting to the Chair of Creative Arts, a part-time term Instructor is needed to teach for the fall 2020 term in the Digital Media Design Program. The instructor will be responsible for the development and delivery of curricula and evaluation of student performance for Photography. The course will focus on teaching the mechanics and inner workings of a DSLR system, how to operate a DSLR in full manual mode, Photoshop, and photo studio procedures.

Required Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Professional Photography or a directly-related field; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Several years of recent and related industry experience
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of a DSLR system, lighting - both natural and studio, and Photoshop
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Experience in developing and delivering presentations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Assets:
