ExxonMobil Canada is looking for a highly motivated student to join our Research and Development (R&D) team.

The work-term will include:

  • Project Contract Management and Project Execution with specialized focus on joint interest R&D programs
  • Stewardship of commitments, expenditures, R&D project contracts as well as project milestones
  • Commercial risk assessments of R&D contracts and agreements and Information Management specific to R&D

The work-term position will provide excellent opportunities to:

  • Gain experience in project management and contract execution of research programs as well as joint industry projects within the Oil & Gas sector
  • Participate in organization’s broad engagement with internal and external stakeholders in R&D
  • Support review of R&D project deliverables including technology development and commercialization milestones

Academic Qualifications:

  • University or PhD Engineering or Commerce student available for a work term beginning in May 2020
  • Currently enrolled in a University or PhD Engineering or Commerce program and returning to full-time studies after the work term
  • Your most recent unofficial transcript(s) must be submitted with your application

Other Qualifications:

  • Self-motivated, willingness to learn, attention to detail and demonstrated leadership
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

Start date: May 2020
