Rourke Farms is currently looking for a seasonal farm labourer to help on our family-run organic grain operation at Minto, Manitoba.

An ideal candidate would have farm or equipment operation experience, a valid drivers license (class 1 would be an asset), some mechanical aptitude, good communication skills, problem solving skills, a good work ethic, team-work skills and have the physical and mental ability to keep up to a fast-paced environment. Willingness to work long hours and consecutive days during busy seasons (seeding, harvest) is crucial.

Duties may include, but are not limited to: operation of trucks and farm machinery, maintenance and repair of equipment, mowing grass, hauling grain, picking stones, maintenance and repair of farm buildings and yard.

Salary will be determined based on experience and qualifications. Affordable housing could be made available.
