Brandon University is seeking sessional instructors in the Department of Psychology to teach the following courses from September to December 2020 and from January to April 2021. Due to COVID-19, courses may need to be delivered by a synchronous online format.

September to December 2020:

82:160 Introduction to Psychology: Part I

Students will be given an insight into the foundations of psychology through an examination of the following topics: history and research in psychology, biological and genetic foundations of behaviour, sensation and perception, consciousness, learning, and memory.

Section 1: Mon, Wed, Fri 8:30 – 9:20 AM

January to April 2021:

82:161 Introduction to Psychology: Part II

Students will examine a series of topics in the field of psychology including: human development, intelligence, personality, motivation, emotion, stress, psychological disorders, psychotherapies, and social psychology.

Qualifications: A PhD in Psychology is preferred; Masters’ Degree in Psychology is required

Salary: $6,205.00 per course
