Summer Services Worker
Full time Summer Employment (30+ hours/week)
Part time (20+ hours/week)
Several Locations: Boissevain, Killarney and Area, Minnedosa Area, Russell and Area, Virden & Brandon
Wage: $16.40/ hour
The Department of Families requires a motivated individual to work one on one with children with disabilities. Individual will work with children with disabilities over the summer to maintain acquired skills during the school break. This is to be achieved using fun activities and play based learning. Mileage will be paid to children’s homes in rural areas.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of early childhood development.
- Experience/training in working with children with varying levels of behavioral or disability concerns.
- Successful applicants will be required to provide a current Criminal Record, Child Abuse Registry and Adult Abuse Registry check.
- A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is required.
