Education:

• Diploma or Bachelor student currently enrolled in a land related program from an accredited post-secondary institution

Eligibility:

• Students must be returning to their post-secondary institution after this work term

Reporting to the Manager of Joint Venture and Commercial, the Land Summer Student will play an important role in supporting the Joint Venture and Commercial Department. The incumbent will be working beside one of our professional land and joint venture administrators on various projects within surface, third party, mineral, contract and joint venture, as required. The incumbent will gain meaningful work experience for future career opportunities. Working as part of our Land and Joint Venture team, you will be using Quorum Land System, MS Office Suite, Accumap, ISC, SPIN 2 and AbaData products.

During your work term, we will push you to be your best by exposing you to challenging projects and giving you the opportunity to take ownership of your work term. You will gain practical experience, develop technical skills to complement your academic learning, and gain exposure to future opportunities at our company. To succeed, you’ll need to cultivate and communicate a clear vision and set goals for yourself, whilst also juggling individual country specific targets.

Some of the key responsibilities of the Land Summer Student will be:

• Entering various agreements into Quorum;
• Registering and discharging Caveats;
• Providing notification to Stakeholders;
• Supporting data integrity projects;
• Adding wells to contracts;
• Renaming and filing documents after they have been scanned;
• Assist land administrators, as required;
• Other special projects, as required.

To be eligible for our co-op student program, you must be enrolled in a co-op/internship program sponsored by an accredited postsecondary institution.
