As a student in the Procurement Services Department (PSD), you will be provided with a challenging opportunity to contribute and build skills in the Procurement function. This role will develop commercial acumen and enhance your knowledge of procurement activities.

Examples of job responsibilities supporting the Supply Chain organization:

  • Monthly metrics analysis and interface with Global Supply Chain Analysts
  • Inventory counts and reviews
  • Compile and send out annual material reviews
  • Follow-up on Aged Invoices, Expediting, and Quarantine reports and work issues to resolution
  • Assist with non-stock expediting
  • Troubleshoot materials related issues for Client
  • Inventory reconciliation and surplus disposal
  • Investment recovery support
  • Third party provider invoice verification
  • Support set-up of new open bin locations at site warehouse(s)

Student terms will also include a variety of short-term projects with specific deliverables for completion by the end of your work term.

Academic Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a university business/commerce/supply chain management degree and returning to school after this work term
  • To be considered for employment, your most recent unofficial transcript(s) must be submitted with your application

  • Strong analytical and time management skills
  • Team player with problem solving ability and business acumen
  • Self-motivated and willingness to learn
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Work term: 4 or 8 months
