Before that he taught part-time from 1995-2005 for Brandon University, University of Manitoba, and University of Winnipeg. During that period of time, he also taught for Inter-Universities North in the Northern Manitoba communities of Norway House, Cross Lake, Split Lake, Nelson House, and The Pas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Productions:<\/strong><br \/>\n<span>As a playwright, he has had more than 40 professional, independent, and university productions of his plays since 1996. His works include <em>Never Never Mind, Kurt Kurt Cobain<\/em>; <em>L-Love\u2019s Body<\/em>; and <em>Stretching Hide<\/em> (Theatre Projects Manitoba); <em>Misty Lake<\/em> (Crazy Horse Aboriginal Theatre Festival); and <em>Wild Geese<\/em> and <em>Cross Creek<\/em> (University of Winnipeg). Independent productions include <em>Aleta Dey, Under Western Eyes, October\/Octubre, Making L-Love\u2019s Body, Notes for a Speech on (Canadian) Flagmaking, Notes Toward a Speech Re: My Ex-<\/em>, and <em>The Day That Mount St. Helens Erupted<\/em>. His plays <em>Stretching Hide<\/em> and <em>Misty Lake<\/em> were co-written with Darrell Racine.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>His play <em>Notes for a Speech on (Canadian) Flagmaking<\/em> was produced by the Brandon Arts Collective as an audio installation at the Art Gallery of Southwestern Manitoba in Brandon (2003).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>His play <em>Misty Lake<\/em> (co-written with Darrell Racine) had a short tour in Northern Manitoba in 1999. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>He has performed readings or had his work read at the Manitoba Association of Playwrights Reading Series in Winnipeg (2011 and 1999); Home Places: Manitoba Literary Features in Brandon (2010), Brandon Folk Music &amp; Art Festival in Brandon (2009, 2008, and 1998); Carol Shields Festival of New Work in Winnipeg (2006); Keesageechak Begins to Dance Festival XVIII in Toronto (2005); Theatre BC New Play Festival in Kamloops (2005); Off the Page Reading Series in Toronto (2002); Alberta Theatre Projects playRites Festival in Calgary (2001); World Next Door Festival in Winnipeg (1998); Winnipeg International Writers Festival in Winnipeg (1998); and Playwrights Theatre Centre Performance Works in Vancouver in 1996.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>He created and produced Brief New Works: a Festival of Short Plays in 2007 and 2009 at Brandon University.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>He participated on the organizing committee for the Ogamas Brandon Aboriginal Literary Festivals in 2007 and 2009.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>He is an on-going member of the Hawkweed Literary Forum, which has been hosting an annual series of literary readings, performances, workshops, and productions on campus since 2007.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>He produced the theatre component at the Worscht and Rhubaba Mennonite Festival on campus in 2012.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>He is a founding member of the independent theatre company Root Sky Productions and the Brandon Arts Collective.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>He has been co-producing and conducting dramaturgy in the Rural Dramaturgy Project in Brandon with funding from the Manitoba Association of Playwrights (1997-present).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>Publications: <\/strong><br \/>\n<span>\u00a0<\/span><em><span>Stretching Hide<\/span><\/em><span> (co-written with Darrell Racine), Scirocco Drama (2007).
