Fiction could include stories by Atwood, Redhill, and Bezmozgis, as well as novels by Robinson, <em>Monkey Beach; <\/em>Shields, <em>The Stone Diaries; <\/em>Kavanagh, <em>Gaff Topsails; <\/em>and Cole, <em>The Fearsome Particles<\/em>. Poetry will consist of one or two books of poetry, possible Coles&#8217;s, <em>Kurgan<\/em>; Lynes&#8217;s, <em>Left Fields<\/em>; or Di Cicco&#8217;s, <em>The Honeymoon Wilderness.<\/em> Titles may change with little notice.<\/p>\n<p>Prerequisite: 6 credit hours in first-year English literature or permission of instructor.<\/p>\n<p>Cannot be held with 30.337.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This course examines recent Canadian novels, short stories, and poetry.
