Creating a Culture of Consent – Experiences from Working with Kids, Youth and Adults

This panel discussion will highlight different approaches to fostering a consent culture. Panel guests include: Brandon Pride, Brandon University, the Sexuality Education Resource Centre–Brandon, and The Women’s Resource Centre.

Panelists will speak about their work as it pertains to consent. They will share successful practices, talk about challenges, and comment on how the conversation about consent has changed over time. Panelists will also talk about the prevalence of rape culture in our society, and about the important work being done to cultivate a culture of consent.
