Curriculum
The Bachelor of Nursing (BN) program consists of 121 credit hours.
Students in the BN Program will be required to successfully complete the following courses:
Pre Nursing Year
- Anatomy & Physiology I and II (6 credit hours)
- Human Growth & Development (3 credit hours)
- Nursing Foundations I (3 credit hours)
- Medical Microbiology (3 credit hours)
- English (3 credit hours)
- Nutrition (3 credit hours)
- Elective (6 credit hours)
And one of the following:
- Introduction to Statistics
- Fundamentals of Psychological Research I
- Social Research Methods II
Year II
- Nursing Foundations II & III
- Intro to Pharmacology
- Health Assessment
- Human Responses I, II & III
- Nursing Applications I & II
- Nursing Practice I, II & III
Year III
- Human Responses IV & V
- Gender and Lifespan Health I & II
- Elective (Health Studies, Arts or Science)
- Nursing Practice IV, V & VI
- Intro to Health Research Methods
Year IV
- Community Health
