Biography<\/h2>\n

Catherine has worked in nursing education for over twenty years in teaching and administrative positions. She has experience in curriculum design and development, accreditation, project management and program evaluation.\u00a0 Catherine is recognized nationally for her expertise in bridging education for internationally educated nurses.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Research Interests<\/h2>\n

Catherine\u2019s current research focus is centred around the phenomenon of work.\u00a0 Specific areas of interest include:\u00a0 The integration of internationally educated nurses (IENs) into the health workforce in rural Manitoba, experiences of racism and discrimination amongst IENs while at work, the preparation of RNs for rural nursing practice and the health of Canadian workers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
