Biography<\/h2>\n

Jane Karpa is a psychiatric nurse educator in both the Bachelor of Science in Psychiatric Nursing program and in the Master of Psychiatric Nursing program. Dr. Karpa is also involved in Thesis Advising within the MPN program. Dr. Karpa has over twenty-five years of clinical experience in working with children, adolescents, adults and families within health systems and as a private practitioner.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Research Interests<\/h2>\n

Dr. Karpa\u2019s main program of research concerns families in health care, supporting allied health care professionals to think family and engage in collaborative practice. As a qualitative researcher Dr. Karpa\u2019s other research interests includes acquired brain injury, recovery principles and teaching reflection.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
