(Unique)<\/li>\n<li>at least 1 <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">uppercase<\/span> letter<\/li>\n<li>at least 1 <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">lowercase<\/span> letter<\/li>\n<li>at least 1 <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">numeric<\/span> character<\/li>\n<li>at least 1 <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">symbol<\/span><\/li>\n<li>it cannot contain any part of your <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">full name<\/span> or BU Account <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">username<\/span>.<\/li>\n<li>Student account passwords must have a minimum length of <strong>8<\/strong> characters long.<\/li>\n<li>Staff\/Faculty account passwords must have a minimum length of <strong>15<\/strong> characters long.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Info on Accepted Password Characters:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Letters (alpha characters) are: Aa, Bb, Cc, Dd, Ee, Ff, Gg, Hh, Ii, Jj, Kk, Ll, Mm, Nn, Oo, Pp, Qq, Rr, Ss, Tt, Uu, Vv, Ww, Xx, Yy, Zz<\/p>\n<p>Numeric characters are: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 0<\/p>\n<p>Symbols are\u00a0 ` ~ ! @ # $ % ^ &amp; * ( ) _ &#8211; + = { } [ ] \\ | : ; &#8221; &#8216; &lt; &gt; , . ? \/<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Passwords on BU Accounts must include all of these requirements: must be a password you have not used before at BU.
