(note that this won&#8217;t work if your password has expired)<\/p>\n<p>For some Windows devices, you will need to configure some settings for Staff-BU before it will allow you to connect.<\/p>\n<h3>Windows 8 &amp; 10 instructions:<\/h3>\n<p>Windows 8 and 10 should work fine without additional settings. If you can&#8217;t get connected, try to tell your system to &#8220;Forget the Staff-BU network&#8221; and then try again.<\/p>\n<h3>Windows Vista\/7 instructions:<\/h3>\n<h4>To Configure Automatically<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Download and open this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dropbox.com\/s\/5beph823j93107r\/BU%20Wifi%20config.msi\">Staff-BU setup<\/a> file. Or this one: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dropbox.com\/s\/7okfb6p4evjg9jt\/BU%20Wifi%20config.zip\">Staff-BU.zip<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Install and run the utility<\/li>\n<li>Enter your email and password then click start to connect to the Staff-BU network\n<ul>\n<li>Remember to Enter your username and your password<\/li>\n<li>You may uninstall the utility after you get connected<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>To Configure Manually<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Click on the Network Icon at the bottom right corner and choose: Open Network and Sharing Centre<\/li>\n<li>Click on Set up a connection or network<\/li>\n<li>Select &#8220;Manually connect to a wireless network&#8221; and click: next\n<ul>\n<li>Network Name: Staff-BU<\/li>\n<li>Security Type: WPA2-Enterprise<\/li>\n<li>Encryption Type: AES<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Click: Next<\/li>\n<li>Click: Change connection settings<\/li>\n<li>Click on the Security Tab<\/li>\n<li>Choose a network authentication method: Microsoft: Protected EAP (PEAP)<\/li>\n<li>Click on Settings<\/li>\n<li>Select all of the check-marks as specified, then click on the Security tab<\/li>\n<li>Click on the Settings button\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure there is NO check-mark in the box beside: Validate server certificate<\/li>\n<li>Under Select Authentication Method choose: Secure password (EAP-MSCHAP v2)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Click: Configure\n<ul>\n<li>Remove the check-mark from Automatically use my Windows logon name and password<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Click: OK<\/li>\n<li>Click on OK again to bring you back to the Security Tab on the Staff-BU Wireless Network Properties dialog<\/li>\n<li>Click on Advanced Settings\n<ul>\n<li>Put a check mark in Specify authentication mode<\/li>\n<li>Choose User authentication from the drop down menu<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Click: OK<\/li>\n<li>Click OK to close the Wireless Network Properties<\/li>\n<li>You should get a bubble in the lower right-hand corner of the screen:\n<ul>\n<li>Enter your BU email address or username, and your password<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>You should now be connected.
