The BU Teachings House brings community together to learn from one another, with initial teachings and circles led by local Indigenous Knowledge Keepers and Elders.<\/p>\n

Truth & Reconciliation Week<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n

September 30 marks the National Day for Truth & Reconciliation, to commemorate the history and ongoing trauma caused by residential schools and to honour survivors, families and communities who continue to grieve for those who were lost.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Pulling Together: Manitoba Foundations Guide<\/a><\/h3>\n

This guide was adapted and developed as a resource for educators and for anyone who wants an introduction to the Indigenous Peoples in our area, as well as the history and effects of colonialism and steps that we can take to decolonize. It is the result of many local Elders, Knowledge Keepers, community members, and Indigenous organizations ‘pulling together’.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
