{"id":147,"date":"2017-08-28T13:01:54","date_gmt":"2017-08-28T18:01:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/webtest.brandonu.ca\/international-activities\/?page_id=147"},"modified":"2017-08-28T13:01:54","modified_gmt":"2017-08-28T18:01:54","slug":"guangzhou-huashang-vocational-college","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.brandonu.ca\/international-activities\/exchange-opportunities\/exchange-opportunities-and-international-cooperation-agreements\/guangzhou-huashang-vocational-college\/","title":{"rendered":"Guangzhou Huashang Vocational College"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 style=\"text-align: center\">Memorandum of Understanding<\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center\">International Cooperation Agreement<\/h3>\n<p>Brandon University, a public post-secondary institution in Manitoba, Canada and Guangzhou Huashang Vocational College agree in principle to enter into an international partnership agreement.<\/p>\n<p>The parties named in this agreement are interested in developing a variety of collaborative activities aimed at enriching the student experience and achieving internationalization objectives of the respective institutions.<\/p>\n<p>The partnership will focus on, but not be limited to, the following opportunities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>study abroad at Brandon University<\/li>\n<li>student exchanges<\/li>\n<li>faculty\/staff exchanges<\/li>\n<li>transnational\/articulation programs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It is understood that each institution will work within their respective institutional guidelines and adhere to the laws and regulations governing the institutions. As each opportunity is developed, a formal agreement will be represented which clearly articulates the roles and responsibilities of each partner, delineates liability and identifies appropriate human and financial resources to ensure successful project outcomes.<\/p>\n<p>Signed by Dr. Gervan Fearon, President and Vice-Chancellor, Brandon University and Professor Damei Chen, Principal, Guangdong Huashang\u00a0Vocational College; witnessed by The Honourable Philip S.
