Under general supervision, performs any combination of duties of the food services function consisting of cash handling, operating of cash register, restocking, food preparation work, dish and pot washing, banquet serving, serving on-line, delivery of catered items, customer service and other related duties as assigned per the class specification.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

Successful completion of Grade 12 or an equivalent and must have acceptable related experience in food production and handling, excellent customer service skills and cashier experience, and experience with kitchen equipment relating to the particular area are required. Must be able to lift up to 20 kilograms, follow oral and written instructions, and work quickly. Must present clean and tidy appearance and follow all Manitoba Health Regulations concerning hair and dress. Safe Food Handling course (or willingness to take course) would be an asset. A valid Manitoba driver’s license preferred. Successful candidate must work well independently and in a team environment with a strong desire to succeed.

Other Pertinent Information:

There are two full-time schedules:  Fridays to Tuesdays and Mondays to Fridays.  Please indicate your availability and preference in your application.


**NOTE** This is a full-time term position to April 30, 2021 and are subject to layoff or reduced hours during periods of slow activity. A Criminal Record Check is required and successful candidates will be responsible for any service charges incurred.
