Faculty Position, Department of Curriculum and Pedagogy, Faculty of Education

The Faculty of Education invites applications for a one year term position that includes teaching, research and service. Teaching load will consist of 18 credit hours including multiple sections of a provincially-mandated Indigenous perspectives course and other Education courses, dependent on the applicant’s background.


The preferred candidate will have academic expertise in Indigenous education and curriculum integration for cultural diversity, possess an appropriate experiential background, and a successful record of public school teaching.


Qualifications: Either: i) a Doctorate or equivalent, or ii) a Master’s Degree or equivalent and a minimum of five (5) years of relevant post-Master’s experience in an academic environment or five (5) years of relevant professional experience, is required.


Rank and Salary:                  Commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Start Date:                                 July 1, 2019 or by mutual agreement
