Duties:
The School of Music is hiring Chaperones to assist with recruiting events throughout the year. The successful candidates
will:
1. Supervise participants taking part in School of Music recruitment events such as Open House and Centre Stage,
including overnight.
2. Assist with organizing transportation between venues.
3. Report concerns to event supervisors.
4. Other relevant duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Experience:
1. Considerable advanced skills and judgement.
2. Ability to work independently and/or with others effectively.
3. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
4. Excellent problem solving skills and ability to assess situations as needed.
Education:
1. Preference will be given to current Brandon University School of Music students, with enrolment in a graduate program or
holding a graduate degree.
2. Preference given to Bachelor of Music/Bachelor of Education student.
4. Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Registry check required. First aid certificate is a strong asset.
5. Previous teaching and/or leadership experience is considered a strong asset.
