Duties:
The Comparative Metabolic Physiology lab at Brandon University is recruiting a motivated research assistant to carry out experiments on the metabolism of the waxworm (G. mellonella). The successful candidate will assist in animal husbandry, experimental design, metabolic and molecular assays. The research assistant will also be involved in the analysis and interpretation of the results of this research, and other relevant duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Experience:
Prior experience with insect handling is required. Previous exposure to research methods, and molecular biology techniques is preferred.
