Duties:

We are seeking five Research Assistants for projects related to tick biology, mosquito surveillance, and integrated pest management. The successful applicants will conduct field work throughout Manitoba, process insect samples, and carry out molecular laboratory techniques.

Qualifications/Experience:

Ideal candidates will be highly motivated and possess a keen interest in insect biology. Students currently enrolled in a university or college biology or agriculture program are preferred. For Research Assistant II, the successful applicants are expected to have advanced training and experience in molecular techniques (e.g., PCR, real-time PCR) and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
