Perform research in the CFI Quantum Computing Lab using techniques from linear algebra, graph theory, operator theory, and/or quantum information theory. Perform literature review.  Assist with the development and application of mathematical concepts related to the research program of Dr. Sarah Plosker. Other related duties as assigned.

Completion or near completion of BSc with major in Mathematics and/or Physics (preference to double-honours);

Ability to work with minimum supervision;

Minimum 4.0 GPA with A+ in Set Theory and Logic, [Applied Linear Algebra or Linear Algebra II], and Quantum Mechanics I, or equivalent;

Demonstrated prior successful research experience in the Department of Math & Computer Science or the Department of Physics & Astronomy.
