Sessional Instructor Opportunity, CBE program, Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Education Integrated Program, Faculty of Education

The Faculty of Education is seeking a qualified sessional instructor to teach the following course at Pine Falls, Manitoba for the 2018 CBE (Community-Based Education) session during the timeframe April 30-May 25, 2018.


Applicants should hold a minimum of a Master’s degree in a relevant subject area.

The course offering is as follows:

04.253 Inclusive Education

The focus of this course is on the role of the early and middle years’ teacher in providing inclusive education within the classroom to a diverse student population.  This course develops inclusive educational practices and provides a critical examination on the Manitoba context, including the Public Schools Amendment Act (Appropriate Educational Programming), and the concepts of exceptionalities, disabilities, and learner differences.  Instruction about how to deploy a universal design for instruction, adaptation, modifications, and the provision of assistive technology is also included.


Start Date: as scheduled

Salary: $6,054/3 credit hour course
