Sessional Instructors, Department of Psychology, Faculty of Science

Brandon University is seeking sessional instructors in the Department of Psychology to teach the following courses from September to December 2019 and from January to May 2020.


September to December 2019:


Students will be given an insight into the foundations of psychology through an examination of the following topics: history and research in psychology, biological and genetic foundations of behaviour, sensation and perception, consciousness, learning, and memory.


January to April 2020:


Students will examine a series of topics in the field of psychology including: human development, intelligence, personality, motivation, emotion, stress, psychological disorders, psychotherapies, and social psychology.



Qualifications: A PhD in Psychology is preferred; Masters’ Degree in Psychology is required

Salary: $6,205.00 per course
